Erling Haaland shortlists six potential destinations, including Manchester United
According to Sport Bild (h/t Daily Mail), Manchester United target Erling Haaland has whittled down his potential destinations to just six clubs.
Thankfully, Old Trafford has made the cut as just one of three potential destinations in the Premier League. With the player expected to move in a deal worth £100million in the summer, this revelation will only heighten speculations regarding his departure.
Aged just 20, Haaland is firmly established as one of the best young strikers in world football. He has shown no indication of slowing down and would be a worthy addition to any team.
United will have to compete for the player with Manchester City and Liverpool. The Blues need a long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero while Jurgen Klopp could do with a prolific goalscorer to replace Roberto Firmino.
The player is only keen on joining a top club and this has seen him dismiss interest from Chelsea. Roman Abramovich was willing to splash the cash on the Norwegian and this new development is a boost in our pursuit of his signature.
Chelsea went big last summer to bring in the likes of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz among others. To say that they have been disappointing would be an understatement.
Haaland is also a fan of Spanish giants Real Madrid. Los Blancos will need to replace Karim Benzema sooner or later and in Haaland, they have an ideal replacement.
They are also intent on Kylian Mbappe and given their financial constraints, it would be difficult to afford one, let alone both. The other sides in the fray include Barcelona and Juventus. (h/t Manchester Evening News)

Of all the clubs in the fray, only Manchester City have outperformed us this season. The likes of Liverpool and Juventus have failed to hit their usual heights while Madrid and Barcelona are in need of a rebuild.
The same cannot be said of United, who are just two or three vital additions from taking off.
Haaland could establish himself as an automatic starter at Old Trafford and lead the club to a bright future. The Red Devils already have a stellar support cast to back the Norwegian and get the best out of him.
