Manchester United star Paul Pogba leaps to the defence of Mino Raiola on Instagram
As reported by the MEN, Manchester United star Paul Pogba has come out in defence of his agent Mino Raiola on Instagram.
It was reported by the Bild’s Christian Falk that the French superstar had told his agent to engineer a move away from Old Trafford, failing which he would sever ties with him.
This led to Raiola taking to social media to belittle Bild. He went on to term the outlet ‘champions of fake news’ in posts made on Twitter and Instagram.
Pogba too was tagged in the agent’s post on Instagram. He went on to defend Raiola’s view and advising Bild to not talk about that they don’t know. (h/t MEN)

Pogba has just 18 months left on his contract at United. He has previously drawn interest from European giants Real Madrid and Juventus. (h/t MEN)
As a United fan, it is jarring to see him come out in defence of his agent regarding the news but not explicitly comment on Raiola’s comments regarding his future at Old Trafford. (h/t MEN)
In fact, he spoke about being committed to the club in a post made on Instagram yesterday night post the Manchester derby. It can be argued that while his words appear encouraging, it does little to tackle the elephant in the room. (h/t MEN)

Raiola is one of football’s most prominent agents and represents some of the biggest names in the game. He became Pogba’s representative in 2012 and also got on the wrong side of Sir Alex Ferguson.
The whole circus regarding Pogba, Raiola, and his future is something the club can do without. Airing dirty laundry in public is never the best idea.
