Kylian Mbappe reveals he has a soft spot for Manchester United
Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast (h/t Mirror), Duncan Castles believes Manchester United have an advantage if they decide to make a move for PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe.
The French superstar is one of the best young players in world football. Despite being just 21, he is a fully established star with a legitimate claim to the pantheon once Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo call it a day.
Currently, at PSG, he has led the French giants to multiple Ligue 1 titles and also last season’s Champions League final.
Castles’ revelation comes thanks to the claim that Mbappe has told his friends that he ‘likes’ Manchester United. (h/t Mirror)
While that is heartening to hear, it does not make any effort in signing him easier. As expected of a player of his calibre, we will have to bat off interest from some of the biggest names in football. (h/t Mirror)
The likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool are all interested in the French wonderkid. (h/t Mirror)
“The clubs he is particularly interested in moving to, Real Madrid, Barcelona, who both have financial issues, Liverpool, and also he’s told friends that he likes Manchester United.”

Mbappe’s French international teammate Paul Pogba is currently angling to leave United in the coming windows.
If we do get Mbappe, it could be a case of letting go of one World Cup winner to bring in another. At this moment in time, it would appear to be a far shot. But then, we can dream.
