Juventus prepare a January loan bid for Manchester United star Paul Pogba
According to the Mirror, Juventus are hoping they can land Manchester United star Paul Pogba on loan in the January transfer window.
If a deal does happen, it will be the second time that the Frenchman will have left United to join the Turin giants. Pogba originally swapped Old Trafford for Juventus in 2012 before returning to us four years later.
Having signed him for just £800,000, selling him for a then world-record fee of £89m was excellent business for them.
Pogba has, however, found it difficult to get going upon his United return. He enjoyed a promising first season back, leading the club to the League Cup and the Europa League.
So far, that represents the high point of his Old Trafford stint. He has failed to put together a consistent run of performances since and has often lacked the same ability he showcases while playing for France.
Pogba’s contract at United expires in 2022. His agent, Mino Raiola revealed that the player will not be signing an extension to stay on at Old Trafford. (h/t Mirror)
This has prompted exit rumours and it would seem that Juventus are keen to take advantage of the situation. (h/t Mirror)
They are looking to secure the midfielder in January originally on a loan. According to the report, the terms will include an obligation to buy him outright next summer. (h/t Mirror)
The 27-year-old put in an impressive shift against Manchester City yesterday night. He even went on to claim on Instagram that he is fully committed to the club.

United valued Pogba at £150million two years ago, however his value has since plummeted. The club was even forced to trigger a one-year extension in Pogba’s £300,000-a-week contract to protect his dwindling market value. (h/t Mirror)
It would appear that the time to cash in on him is fast approaching.
