Ole Gunnar Solskjaer permits Manchester United exit for Paul Pogba
According to The Athletic, Manchester United have the blessings of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to part ways with French superstar Paul Pogba.
The midfielder’s agent Mina Raiola created a storm with his comments regarding the player’s future. While the fact that Pogba is unhappy will not come as a surprise, the timing of the revelations especially ahead of a key clash has earned him few sympathizers.
It would not appear that his time as a Red Devil is nearing its end.
According to the report, Solskjaer is not keen to keep players who are not committed to the club.
Ironically, it was just a few months ago that Raiola reaffirmed Pogba’s commitment to the Red Devils. His comments yesterday are a complete 180 on those made earlier. (h/t Mirror)
The report goes on to add that there is anger and frustration among the people at the club at the timing of Raiola’s revelations. Given that Pogba put in an excellent display on the weekend, the good vibes surrounding that performance have all but disappeared.
Pogba is on his day a world-beater. He has however failed to repay the faith put in him by United.
Despite a few excellent displays, he has come nowhere close to replicating it on a consistent basis. His agent can rail against United all he likes, but the player has often shot himself in the foot, making life no easier for him at United.
It would appear that a parting of the ways is on the cards.

It can be argued that Bruno Fernandes has done more at the club in less than a year than what Pogba has managed in four years.
Untied have coped well without the Frenchman since the new year. Ensuring we sell him for a good price, reinvesting that amount to bring in the right players will be a better bet for our long-term future.
