Jadon Sancho in constant touch with Manchester United stars

Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast (h/t Mirror), transfer expert Ian McGarry has revealed that Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho is in constant communication with Manchester United players as talks over a summer move drag on.

The 20-year-old is a top transfer target for Manchester United in the ongoing window. However, the club have been locked in negotiations with the German giants over the transfer fee for quite a long while now. (h/t Mirror)

While the talks drudge on, McGarry has claimed that Sancho has been in constant touch with several Manchester United stars of late and is on a Whatsapp group with some of our players. (h/t Mirror)

“He has been in constant touch with England international colleagues who currently play for Manchester United and indeed in daily contact with them. It’s even believed he’s on a WhatsApp group with some of the Manchester United players as well.”

The journalist also went on to add that Manchester United are quite relaxed with the situation as they believe Dortmund will come around and an agreement for the deal will be finalised. (h/t Mirror)

“They’re also very confident the player wants to come to Old Trafford. Therefore United are very comfortable with their position – they believe that Dortmund will come round to the structure that they’ve suggested.”

Indeed, Sancho is seemingly intent on signing for Manchester United. In fact, the 20-year-old is reported to have already agreed terms on a contract with the club.

The only bone of contention that remains, is the transfer fee. Dortmund have placed a mammoth £108m price tag on Sancho. United, however, want to to make a down payment of around £70m and pay the rest as installments and add-ons. (h/t Express)
