PSG keen on Manchester United star Marcus Rashford
According to the Independent, PSG have earmarked Manchester United ace Marcus Rashford as a priority target ahead of the summer transfer window.
Their German manager Thomas Tuchel is a big fan of the player and believes England does not believe how good Rashford truly is.
Having come through the club’s ranks, the 22-year-old has already made 208 appearances at such a young age. Rashford is a match-winner and one of our best players. United will not be keen to lose him.
According to the report, United will demand upwards of £100m for Rashford. A figure that Tuchel is willing to part with.
With Edinson Cavani out of the picture, PSG view Rashford as the perfect foil for Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. They have such a high opinion of him that they also see him as a replacement for their French wonderkid should he move to Real Madrid.
A tough player to pin down, Rashford’s versatility offers another element to his attack. Tuchel is a fan of his flexibility and can use the forward in an array of formations. In his words, the 22-year-old is the perfect dynamic attacking player.
The report goes on to say that the player’s camp is willing to listen to admirers. Thankfully, he is a model professional and is very happy at United. Him being a fan of the club will also work in our favour.
Rashford is emerging as one of the leaders at United. He shares an excellent relationship with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and is central in our rebuild. It will take something extraordinary effort to prise away the youngster from Old Trafford. Hopefully, that will never come to pass.
