Borussia Dortmund drop asking price for Jadon Sancho

According to Christian Falk of German publication Bild (h/t Express), Borussia Dortmund have dropped the asking price for wonderkid Manchester United target Jadon Sancho.

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a stellar season at the Signal Iduna Park. He has scored 20 goals and 20 assists in 43 matches in all competitions. (h/t Transfermarkt)

This has also seen him garner interest from Liverpool and Chelsea. However, United are leading the race.

According to the report, Dortmund were originally asking for an offer in excess of £100million before the coronavirus crisis.

Now the Germans have dropped their price to £90m for the 20-year-old. However, they remain confident he will stay at the club for another season. (h/t Express)

Former Liverpool star Dietmar Hamann believes Sancho will move to United this summer.

“I see him going to the Premier League. The most likely option there is Manchester United.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to sign the player this summer. Sancho too is receptive to a move back to the Premier League with United.

Ed Woodward is determined to sign the youngster with United leading the chase. His addition would be a massive boost for the club as we look to take back our perch.

Having the fast, pacy and prolific Sancho down the flanks would give us another dimension in attack.

With Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes pulling the strings in midfield and Marcus Rashford wreaking havoc up top, the United attack will present a daunting prospect.

Whether the deal takes place or not remains to be seen.
