Bruno Fernandes sheds light on instant connection with Paul Pogba
Manchester United fans had been waiting for long to see Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba in action in the middle of the park.
We finally got a glimpse of the duo in action against Tottenham Hotspur on Friday night. And while the game may not have ended in our favour, the sight of the duo striking up a partnership was surely exciting.
Indeed, Pogba and Fernandes showed great chemistry and understanding during their short time together on the field.
The Frenchman coming on as a substitute in the second period helped us exert more domination as we pressed in search of the goal. And the duo were involved in us making a comeback late in the game as Pogba won the all-important penalty that Fernandes dispatched with ease.
Speaking after the game, the Portuguese shed some light on his natural partnership with Pogba. (h/t Express)
“When we train in groups I was in the group with Paul so to find the connection is easier. We’ve been training hard in the past few weeks.”
Pogba’s impact, in his first appearance, since December last year, was great to see. Hopefully the 27-year-old builds on the display in the coming weeks.

Fernandes, on the other hand, has been just exceptional since joining in January. The midfielder is yet to lose a game in Manchester United colours. Following his goal on Friday, he now has three goals and assists each in the Premier League.
Having gotten a glimpse of what the duo can do together on Tottenham, we can’t wait for more.
