Man United approach Frankfurt striker Sebastien Haller
Manchester United are considering a move for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Sebastien Haller as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, according to the Daily Mail.
The Belgian striker was clearly out of sorts in the recently concluded season and has also been strongly linked with a move to Serie A side Inter Milan. Lukaku has managed to score 14 goals in 42 appearances, a certain decline in his scoring rate than in the previous seasons.
Haller, 24, had his breakout campaign with Frankfurt, bagging an impressive bagging 20 goals and 9 assists across all competitions. He alongside Luka Jovic and Ante Rebic imposed a great attacking threat to the oppositions throughout this campaign.
The French U-21 international broke into the limelight with his impressive goalscoring run with FC Utrecht for three seasons. He garnered a goal tally of 51 in 98 games in the Eredivisie under Niko Kovac.

Furthermore, Haller was one of the anchors in pushing Frankfurt towards Europa League glory before they lost against Chelsea in semi-finals.
In the meanwhile, Bayern Munich’s top striker Robert Lewandowski is also being watched by the Red Devils.
