While shot-stoppers like Gianluigi Donnarumma, Jasper Cillessen have already made it to the wishlist, French shot-stopper Maignan emerges as the new entrant.

Maignan, 25, has been outstanding for the Ligue 1 outfit in the recently concluded season, playing great hands in his side finishing second behind PSG.

Upon attaining the place as the club’s first choice goalkeeper in the previous season, Maignan failed to make the desired impact. But his meteoric progress this season has caught everyone’s attention. The French U-21 star has kept 15 clean sheets in the process, the second highest in the league.

A youth product of the Parisians, Maignan featured for their reserves side for more than three seasons before joining Lille. He has represented France national team at various age levels and is bracing himself for a senior team call-up.
