Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has seeked out Monaco right-back Fabinho as his new transfer target. Mourinho is reportedly preparing a deal worth £22m for the player.
Further the transfer can be made easier as Mourinho and the Brazilian defender both share the same agent Jorge Mendes, who is also a good friend of the Portuguese manager.
According to the reports from the Sun, Fabinho is keen on testing himself in the Premier League and this is set to coincide with United’s watching the market for a new right-back this summer.
The report further states that United playmaker Juan Mata could be let go of by the Portuguese manager and as of now Espanyol is keen on signing the player on a deal worth £37m.
United have already stepped into their pre-season campaign under new manager Jose Mourinho with a 2-0 victory against Wigan Athletic at the DW stadium last Saturday.
