Arsenal Superstar Or The Spanish Sensation: Who Will Be A Better Fit Under Jose Mourinho At Manchester United?

Recently, rumours have been spreading like fire related to every single player who is slightly linked to Manchester United, true or not. One of the most recent additions to that list is none other than the Welsh midfielder, Aaron Ramsey.

Aaron Ramsey has been an important player for Arsenal in the past few years, and certainly a very key asset to his national side, looking at his performance in the EURO 2016 currently.

The news about Ramsey being linked to Manchester United has put doubts about Ander Herrera’s future at Old Trafford, being already one of those players who might exit the club this summer.

Ander Herrera had an average season under Louis Van Gaal, scoring four goals and assisting two, and also got booked seven times in a total of 40 appearances.

To be fair to him, Van Gaal always played him in a deeper midfield role, and never really fancied him for a slightly more attacking role even during the absence of the skipper.

The Spanish midfielder has a lot of potential, and there is certainly no doubt about that. But given his overall performance at Manchester United, he has been inconsistent, which raises doubts over his future under the new manager.

On the other hand, Aaron Ramsey unquestionably, has a better record. Both stats and real time effectiveness prove him better than Ander Herrera as of now.

The Welsh playmaker is versatile in the center of the field and is known for his stamina and long passes.

He profitably managed to score 7 goals and assist 5 last season, which isn’t too bad. He has been one of the midfielders who have been well suited to the Premier League, being a counter attack threat, even from the defensive midfield position and playing the game by keeping more of the ball to self.

The 25-year-old is currently shining along with Gareth Bale for his national side, and by the looks of it, Arsene Wenger might get some insane offers for the Welshman. It will perhaps be harder to keep him at Arsenal.

If Manchester United are in fact, really looking to sign Ramsey then in all probability, they should. Jose Mourinho is here to win trophies and is given the permission to do whatever he likes.

The Portuguese manager isn’t afraid to shuffle/change the squad as per his wish. Herrera was probably ready to give up his position at the club.
