After having 14 of their players injured at one point and majority of the first team defenders in that list, it is no surprise that Manchester United will look at add more depth in the defensive unit. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, an Italian media, the Red Devils are ready to chase Miranda of Inter Milan.
Interestingly Miranda is currently not an Inter Milan player and is only on loan from Atletico Madrid with an obligation to sign him next year. However since he has been impressive this season and attracted interest from some top European clubs the Nerazzuris are thinking of signing him this season itself in order to cash out on him.
Bayern Munich and Barcelona are also interested in the player but United are said to be confident of signing the 31 year old. Given the player’s age, it is a little difficult to believe that teams like Bayern Barca and United are interested but stranger things have happened in the transfer windows.
