After spending over £300 million on new players over the last few seasons it is still a surprise that they need to reinforce their squad again. As per the Record, a media outlet from Portugal, Manchester United are very serious about signing Renato Sanches. The 18-year-old midfielder is a very versatile option and has scored 6 goals in 34 matches this season. His release clause is at about £60 million and that is high for a young player of his age.
Also considering that United have purchased several midfielders like Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Herrera it is a little surprising that they want to sign another. No doubt United are struggling to score goals when all they are doing is buying midfielders.
