Tribal Football has reported that the next Manchester United signing could be Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega. The report cited by Telegraph, went on to say that Louis Van Gaal, desperate to add some attacking threat to the United team is looking at the Argentine as an ideal January signing.
The player had moved to Europe from Boca Juniors in 2008. Valencia had paid €20million for the midfielder and had put him in the first team regularly towards the beginning. Since then he had fallen out of favor at the club and was sold to Sevilla. After his move to Sevilla, the player has been impressive and has made over 300 senior appearance overall in his career.
The player still only 27 year old and is most likely in his prime. With United struggling to score goals in matches a player in his prime condition will surely appeal the Old Trafford faithfuls. Rooney has scored in last few matches but surely United could do with more firepower in the team.
