It has been confirmed, officially, that Victor Valdes has left the club for Standard Liege on loan. The player, after his Barcelona career and injury was given a contract at Old Trafford and had made a few appearances for the senior team.
However, at the beginning of this season things turned sour with Louis Van Gaal, the Manchester United manager, and the Champions League winning goalkeeper has been pushed way down in the pecking order.
Now the player has agreed to a loan move with Standard Liege and is said to be moving to the Belgian side for the rest of the season. Though it is a loan, we suspect it may become permanent. If not, at the least, we may not see Victor Valdes in the United jersey again.

The player doomed his stint at Manchester United after falling out of favor with Louis Van Gaal, who mentioned the player did not want to play for the reserve team.
