Paul Pogba says he wants new challenges away from Old Trafford

Manchester United star midfielder Paul Pogba is willing to seek an exit from Old Trafford next season as he has expressed his desire for new challenges, according to the Daily Record UK.

The French World Cup star has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid and his former club Juventus.

Amidst these exit links, Pogba has spoken about his Old Trafford future, which would leave the fans in a shock. (h/t The Daily Record UK)

“For me, I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.

“After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well… I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.”

The 26-year-old was off to a disappointing start in the recently concluded season as he was overlooked by former manager Jose Mourinho. Later, Pogba became a pivotal figure under Ole Gunnar Solskjear as he contributed a lot in the Norwegian manager’s short winning spree.

The former Bianconeri man returned to Old Trafford in 2016 and played over 100 matches until now. He has also earned 69 caps for France national team.

How will United cope without Pogba?

Though Pogba looks a central figure in Solskjaer’s summer overhaul, the Red Devils have quite a few options like Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira, who have already impressed this season.

Furthermore, United are also keeping tabs on Portugal midfielder Bruno Fernandes, who can be a good replacement for the French man.
