Casemiro stars in Manchester United’s 2024/25 home kit reveal
Manchester United have finally unveiled their new home kit for the 2024/25 season, which will sport the Snapdragon branding on the front, replacing TeamViewer.
Among the many players featured in the kit reveal is Casemiro, who posted an image on Instagram with a mini caption, to sum up his views on the new kit.
The 32-year-old is currently taking some much-needed rest after the end of the 2023/24 club season, having missed out on selection for the Brazil national team currently in the US playing the 2024 Copa América owing to his underwhelming performances for United in the season gone by.
Casemiro blew hot and cold in his second year at Old Trafford, attracting criticism from pundits and fans alike, many deeming him to be past his prime.
The veteran defensive midfielder has since been linked with a move away from United, with Saudi Arabia being touted as his likeliest destination as United try to cut their losses on the £70m investment they made in him two seasons ago.
Casemiro is currently United’s highest-paid player, earning £350,000 per week from a contract set to run until June 2026.
A kit we may never see Casemiro play in
It is true that we have to accept the reality that we may never see the hot-and-cold-blowing Casemiro play for United again, especially in what many would call a hot-and-cold-blowing home kit for next season.
The equation for Casemiro remains the same as it was at the end of May: he has not become as bad a player all of a sudden as many would have you believe; he could still do a job for United.
