Man United superstar has become the first to cross an incredible milestone during the 2023/24 PL season.
Manchester United skipper, Bruno Fernandes has been doing everything for his team this season. He scores goals, he runs back to defend, he shows urgency when the team loses possession and most importantly he creates chances for his team.
A stat from Squawka shows that the 29-year-old has been so proficient at creating chances that he is now the first player to create 100+ chances this season. However, when it comes to assists Bruno is not even top 10 in the Premier League this season.
This goes to show just how wasteful Manchester United have been. In 45 appearances, the Portuguese midfielder has 26 goal contributions with 15 scored and 11 assisted. His assist numbers would be way higher if the team had someone who could convert chances on a consistent basis.
We often see Man United players lose their composure and shoot wide when they’re faced with the goal. Something that should not be the standard for one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
The team has who is probably one of the best playmakers in the league, yet they’re struggling to win games. Now that their season is almost over the new ownership needs to sit down and have a close look at the team.
There are a lot of players who make more than what their performances warrant. It wouldn’t even come as a surprise if Sir Jim Ratcliffe decides to blow it all up and kick off a complete rebuild for the club.
