Manchester United star, Diogo Dalot shares details on the team’s disappointment following Bournemouth draw

Manchester United were a failure once again as the team struggled to get over Bournemouth last night. It was another bad day at the office for Erik ten Hag who saw his team concede two goals within the first 45.

If it wasn’t for the penalty the Red Devils won during the second half, the game would’ve been over a long time ago. However, luck was once again on their side and helped Manchester United get one point out of a terrible performance.

The players will surely be disappointed with their performance, Diogo Dalot sure was, and shed light on the team’s feelings after the game concluded. Let’s have a look at what the 24-year-old defender had to say. (h/t Manchester Evening News)

“I’m disappointed. We wanted to come here and get the three points. We were down twice, so we had the hunger to fight for the game.”

Dalot says United travelled to grab three points from the game. However, their performance and intensity on the pitch suggest otherwise. Man United didn’t even know what to do with themselves when they were out of possession.

Dalot mentioned that they conceded because they lost control of the game a little bit. He says apart from that he and the team showed great spirit to come back which is a positive to take away from their performance.

The 25-year-old seems to be forgetting that it is too late into the season for the team to be taking away ‘positives’ from such poor displays.
