Manchester United got an ‘unjust’ win against Everton claims Sean Dyche.
Manchester United took on Everton and took away three points from the Toffees as they travelled to Old Trafford. It was the Alejandro Garnacho show, the Argentine won two penalties for the Red Devils.
One was given to Bruno Fernandes who found the bottom right corner. The second went to Marcus Rashford, who was composed with the finish and made it 2-0. United won but the scoreline doesn’t reflect the whole story of this game.
Sean Dyche who is the manager of Everton believes that the Red Devils’ win was unjust. He had a lot to say about it while speaking to BBC post-game. Let’s have a look.
“Manchester United beat us then, and I thought it was an unjust win for them, similar today. We’ve done everything right, we just haven’t found the goal.”
Dyche is right about his team not finding the goal despite doing things right. Plenty of times the Toffees found themselves in front of the United goal, however, they failed to add the finishing touch.
The Everton manager went on to say that giving away two penalties was a shot in the foot. He’s absolutely right about that, without the penalties the Blues looked like the better team.
On the other hand, Erik ten Hag will be happy with the win. The Dutchman believes that his team did a lot of things right. However, Manchester United’s finishing still leaves a lot to be desired.
