Mainoo rectified that weakness while displaying impressive abilities on the ball, distributing and dictating the tempo for his team. The 18-year-old’s impressive performances have caught the eyes of England manager Gareth Southgate with the plans of selecting him immediately.

Mainoo has made 22 appearances in all competitions this season, contributing two goals and two assists for the Red Devils. The Englishman’s wages are currently £ 20,000 a week due to the trigger of that clause as he continues to be a regular.
