Kobbie Mainoo will receive a lucrative contract from Manchester United after securing the senior team role at the club. The 18-year-old steep rise to the top has put him in a strong position to secure a big money deal.

The England U19 stepped up for the Red Devils when they faced an injury crisis and players struggling with form. He made his first Premier League start for United in a 3-0 victory over Everton at Goodison Park.

Mainoo rectified that weakness while displaying impressive abilities on the ball, distributing and dictating the tempo for his team. The 18-year-old’s impressive performances have caught the eyes of England manager Gareth Southgate with the plans of selecting him immediately.

Mainoo has made 22 appearances in all competitions this season, contributing two goals and two assists for the Red Devils. He triggered a clause of his current contract after making his 10th first-team appearance for the club. The Englishman’s wages are currently £ 20,000 a week due to the trigger of that clause as he continues to be a regular.

The Mirror reported that the Red Devils are planning to reward Mainoo with a 300 per cent pay rise. The potential contract. The potential contract would take the 18-year-old’s pay to £60,000-a-week, making him one of the highest earners at the club.
