Craig Burley names a Manchester United superstar who should be moved when a new manager arrives
Manchester United have been in abysmal form this season. The Red Devils can only contest for the FA Cup while struggling to make the Premier League’s top four. This has of course cast a shadow of doubt over Erik ten Hag and his future at the club.
A lot of people expect the Red Devils to go after a new manager. However, if the Dutchman can win the FA Cup and lead his team to the UCL next season, he might just retain his spot at Old Trafford.
Depending on how the season goes, some changes to the squad are also in order. Former Scottish player, Craig Burley has already named one superstar who should be booted if a new manager arrives and starts to make changes.
Let’s have a look at what the Scot had to say. (h/t ESPN FC via Youtube)
“I know Marcus Rashford scored a great goal on the weekend but he should be the first to be out of the door”
“get on the bus and don’t come back”
Burley stressed that the team will need to make major changes to their attacking front and Marcus Rashford is the player that they should start with. The 26-year-old has recorded six goals and six assists in 36 appearances this season.
A major drop off from the 30 goals and 11 assists that he recorded last season. Moreover, Rashford’s off-the-field behaviour isn’t the best, to say the least. The Manchester-born star is often in situations that he should be avoiding.
