Manchester United are completely confident that they will be signing a French superstar this summer

As reported by TEAMtalk (h/t Manchester Evening News), Manchester United are currently in the lead to sign French superstar, Michael Olise. It is being said that they will beat out London giants, Chelsea to the signing of young Olise.

The Red Devils have struggled on offence this season. Their poor form in front of goal was on full display when they fell to Fulham and Manchester City over the past few weeks.

Rasmus Hojlund has been lifting a heavy load for the team and has been their primary striker. However, now that both he and Anthony Martial have picked up injuries Marcus Rashford has been playing in the centre.

It is clear to see that Manchester United are spread extremely thin. So, signing Olise will be a big boost and will even help the team rest 21-year-old Hojlund. In 11 Premier League appearances this season, the Frenchman has recorded six goals and three assists.

The Danish Striker, Hojlund on the other hand has made 30 appearances recording 13 goals and two assists. The 21-year-old had nine G/A in six games before he went down to an injury in February.

Having both Michael Olise and Rasmus Hojlund next season will help Man United ensure that they always have a quality player stationed on attack.
