Manchester United superstar and Erik ten Hag are not even on talking terms

According to The Sun, Manchester United superstar, Marcus Rashford is barely on speaking terms with head coach, Erik ten Hag. It is being said that the two have barely spoken to each other since the Manchester-born star’s Belfast bender.

For those of you who don’t know, Rashford missed training before United’s game against Newport County. The English Winger called in sick but was spotted partying the night before the game.

The FA Cup clash is the team’s only hope for a trophy this season and seeing his team’s megastar treat it so lightly did not sit well with the Dutchman.

As a result, Erik ten Hag did not select the player for the FA Cup game and there was also some talk suggesting that Rashford was fined two weeks worth of wages for the incident.

The Dutchman has a reputation for being something of a disciplinarian. He earlier axed Jadon Sancho from the first team after he called the manager out in public. Luckily for Rashford, such cruel punishment wasn’t doled out for his goof-up.

However, their relationship remains strained and the staff even believes that it is beyond the point of saving at this point. Hopefully, there aren’t any other players at Old Trafford who have it out for Ten Hag.
