Erik ten Hag has shared his thoughts on what the future looks like for Man United now that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is here

Manchester United seem to have completely taken a u-turn ever since Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s arrival. He came in late December and the team’s fortunes have completely changed ever since his INEOS started their work from the new year.

Erik ten Hag has been the happiest about this development. The arrival of Sir Jim and his team gives the Dutchman some much needed support. Something that he has lacked for most of his stint in Manchester.

The Red Devils chief has often drawn attention to all the positives around the club ever since the Glazers took a back seat. Here’s what Erik ten Hag had to say about the future of Manchester United under Sir Jim Ratcliffe. (h/t Manchester Evening News)

“Absolutely. We are very aligned. We have the same ambition. We belong there [Champions League], we believe, we have to prove it.”

He sees that he and Sir Jim work well together due to their shared interest in the team’s success. Ten Hag added that he has been very happy with how his team have been progressing during his time.

The Dutchman has been elated about the development of his players over the past 19 months. However, his work is far from over, this Manchester United team needs a lot more quality before they are ready to compete.
