Manchester United can thank Rasmus Hojlund for their win against Luton Town. While everyone else on the team was being wasteful and overplaying, it was 21-year-old Hojlund who kept his head on straight and led his team to the win.

He got off the mark in under forty seconds. A crucial interception by Hojlund led to an early lead for the team and it was quickly followed up with a strike from his chest.

There’s been a lot of talk surrounding his second goal. People think that the goal wasn’t meant and he was lucky to get it. It came through an off-target shot by Alejandro Garnacho, which seemed like it was guided home by the Dane.

“I did mean it, 100%. You can see I turned my body and it went in. I was surprised to be honest. I have a lot of confidence at the moment.”

While it may have looked like an accident, it seems like Hojlund did mean to score after all. However, one has to say that the Dane was extremely lucky to be in that position and get a goal out of it.

Nevertheless, fans will be happy about the extra goal. Even more so, since it helped Rasmus Hojlund and Manchester United seal the deal against Luton.

Man United may have won four games in a row but their form during the game against Luton and the one against Aston Villa has been shaky at best.
