Old Trafford’s doors will be open for Manchester United loanee if Erik ten Hag is sacked
Manchester United loanee, Jadon Sancho has been enjoying his time with Borussia Dortmund. This is the 23-year-old’s second stint with the club. His first stint ended when he decided to join the Red Devils, something that has not worked out in his favour.
Following a public fallout with coach, Erik ten Hag, the English winger was axed from the first team and was away from football for over four months. Everyone believes the relationship between the club and the player is beyond saving at this point.
However, Dortmund don’t have the money to buy Sancho and the Dutchman at United may not be around by the end of the season. According to Football Insider (h/t Manchester Evening News), the 23-year-old could return to playing for Manchester United if Erik ten Hag is sacked at the end of the season.
However, Erik ten Hag’s team is finally showing life during the second half of the season. They have won all their games and even look strong enough to topple Aston Villa this Sunday.
If the Dutchman doesn’t leave during the summer, it is highly unlikely that the club will welcome Jadon Sancho back. The English winger might be a superstar in Germany, but his poor form with United gives the club no reason to bend to his will.
The Red Devils are doing well in the FA Cup, and are through to the fifth round. Moreover, their Premier League campaign is starting to come back to life.
