Man United star who could leave during the summer will always be ‘welcome’ at Brentford says the manager
Manchester United’s exit-linked star, Christian Eriksen ‘will always be welcome’ at Brentford FC says the team’s coach. The 31-year-old is expected to depart from Old Trafford during the summer.
His impact during his time with the Bees cannot be overstated. He arrived during what was a tough time for himself and for the club that he joined. However, both sides came back to life when playing together.
Eriksen would have never left Inter Milan if it wasn’t for his cardiac device implant. Because of this, the player and Inter came to a mutual agreement, and his contract was terminated.
His time at Brentford was so successful that Manchester United wasted no time to snag him for themselves and a deal was completed in July 2022. However, times are changing at Old Trafford and the 31-year-old doesn’t seem to be a part of their future.
But, he could still be a part of Brentford’s let’s take a look at what their coach had to say about it. (h/t Manchester Evening News)
“He will always be welcome back! Christian will always be,”
“Of course, he had an injury before Christmas for a while. But if Christian wants, he’s very welcome.”
Thomas Frank then went on to say that he believes Christian did well during his time at Brentford, a statement that most people will be inclined to agree with. His best years may be behind him but he still has a lot of qualities from his best days.
People often seem to forget how deadly Eriksen was during his time with Tottenham. In 305 appearances for the Lilywhites, the English midfielder recorded 90 assists while also scoring 69 goals.
