Youngster who recently left Manchester United believes it is a step in the ‘right direction’
Isak Hansen-Aaroen left Manchester United to join Bundesliga side Werder Bremen earlier this week. The 19-year-old never even got to make a first-team appearance for the Red Devils.
A lot of youngsters have left the club in January in the pursuit of more playing time. Young stars need minutes to develop and that just isn’t possible for Erik ten Hag to give because his team already has a ton of talent on it.
The Man United players, especially academy graduates like Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo were fully supportive of Isak’s decision. It seems like Old Trafford’s starlets know the reality of their future at the club.
Here’s what Isak Hansen-Aaoren had to say about the entire situation. (h/t Kicker)
“(This move is) a big step in the right direction,”
“I’m happy to have the opportunity to play in the Bundesliga for such a big club.”
The Norwegian midfielder seems to be satisfied with his decision. He will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of his former teammate Jadon Sancho, who was regarded as a world-class talent during his first stint with Borussia Dortmund.
Now the 23-year-old Winger has 140 appearances for the German club and has recorded 50 goals and 66 assists over that span. If Isak can achieve even 30% of this his move will to the Bundesliga will end up being worth it.
The 19-year-old is quick on his feet and often connects on a ton of killer balls. Within the right environment, he can grow to be a top talent in the football world.
