Journo says that Manchester United can’t be ‘ruled out’ of the transfer window despite shrewd INEOS strategy

Manchester United have been very silent during the January transfer window. Despite the team’s unwillingness to do business in January, Skysports still believes that they can’t be ‘ruled out’.

The Red Devils are known for being dormant for most of the winter transfer window. In fact, it wasn’t till deadline day last year that the team decided to bring in Marcel Sabitzer.

This has sort of become an annual practice for Man United. For the last two years, they have been waiting till the last day to complete loan deals. With the state that the team is currently in this season might not be any different.

Erik ten Hag has already been pretty strapped for offensive options this season, which has led to an increased load for Rasmus Hojlund. Moreover, Anthony Martial’s groin injury has taken another piece off the board for the Dutchman.

If they hope to turn this season around, Manchester United will surely have to sign a new forward before January is up and as said before Skysports hasn’t ‘ruled out’ the Red Devils.

INEOS will need to back Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.

One name that keeps being linked to Manchester United is Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. If a deadline day deal is imminent, it will likely involve the Bayern Munich Man.
