Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester United winger doesn’t want a loan deal out of ‘respect’ for his ex-club
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United winger Amad Diallo doesn’t wish for a Championship loan transfer out of ‘respect’ for previous club Sunderland AFC.
The player was previously on loan with the English side and was highly impressive during his time there. Through 42 appearances for the team Diallo recorded 14 goals and four assists.
Moreover, Manchester United should not be looking to send the 21-year-old anyway, since he has just recently returned from injury. Diallo has only made one appearance for the Red Devils this season.
Many believe that he would be an excellent replacement for Antony who also plays on the right wing. The Brazilian star has been unable to make an impact at Old Trafford and could soon be moved to the bench.
Diallo is an amazing talent and can grow to be a superstar for Manchester United during the coming years. It’ll surely make the team happy if he can stay and grow under Erik ten Hag.
However, the Ivorian winger could come to regret his decision if the Dutchman chooses not to play him over Antony. The club paid £82m for the Brazilian star and will definitely be looking to get their money’s worth.
