Manchester United target Serhou Guirassy transfer is a race against time

According to the Mirror, Manchester United are against the clock now to sign the Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy in this transfer window.

Several rumours regarding the forward joining Old Trafford has raised given Manchester United’s troubles with the goal this season. The Red Devils have only registered 22 goals in the Premier League, lagging behind Burnley and Sheffield United who are currently placed in the bottom two positions. Unfortunately, their big-money summer acquisition Rasmus Hojlund has not been greatly productive yet.

The forward is currently unavailable due to his commitment to Guinea for the Africa Cup of Nations. Unfortunately, he had to leave the pitch during their friendly match against Nigeria on Monday due to a knee injury. There is optimism in Guinea that he will recover in time for their first match of the tournament against Cameroon next week.

The Red Devils are operating with limited financial resources. United will be keeping a close eye on Guirassy’s injury, hoping for a swift recovery so he can rejoin Guinea’s next game.

Guirassy’s contract includes a release clause of €17.5m (£15m) that could potentially facilitate his departure this month.

Serhou Guirassy is an incredibly exciting player who would be a valuable addition to any elite team. His impressive goal-scoring record this season, along with his exceptional playmaking skills, discipline, and expertise in taking penalties, solidify his status as a highly valuable asset.
