Erik ten Hag refuses to rule out January incomings at Manchester United
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag could do with additions this January as he looks to rebuild a Red Devils roster beset by imbalance and injuries.
The Carabao Cup holders are already out of Europe and the League Cup this season. Triumph in the FA Cup coupled with a top four finish would certainly be a promising way top salvage the 2023/24 campaign.
The January transfer window offers United the opportunity to reinforce their roster. The likes of Tottenham Hotspur are already making their moves and unless something changes fast, the Red Devils might once again be forced to play catch up to their top four rivals.
While United won 2-0 over Wigan Athletic, securing their spot in the FA Cup fourth round, their options off the bench served as a reminder of what Ten Hag is currently working with. The lack of experienced gamechangers certainly leaves us with a handicap when it comes to facing top opposition.
According to the Independent, Ten Hag refused to rule out any January business at Old Trafford. This will come as music to the ears of the United faithful, who will be eager for INEOS to make an early mark.
“We consider everything.”
“Ten Hag’s focus remains paramount on improving the club’s fortunes. He has hinted that all options remain open and that there could potentially be movement at the Theatre of Dreams should an opportunity arise.”
So what is in the best interests of the players and also the best interests for us, the team, for Manchester United. So we’ll see how we progress during the window
Despite several key players nearing a return from injury, United could do with some new additions. This includes a new defensive midfielder and a right-winger. A prolific striker would not be amiss either. Sir Jim Ratcliffe has an opportunity to leave an early mark by addressing them this month.

While value can be found in the January window, several teams are usually hesitant to splash the cash in the winter. Given our situation, United will be foolhardy to not use the opportunity to strengthen themselves while those around them job on.
