Ten Hag hopeful of having key Manchester United trio available vs Tottenham

Erik Ten Hag is hanging his hopes on the availability of key Manchester United trio vs Tottenham

Following their victory in the third round of the FA Cup, Manchester United will now be preparing to take on Tottenham Hotspur. The two teams will face off in a Premier League fixture on the 14th of January.

The Red Devils looked dominant in their victory over Wigan Athletic yesterday. Diogo Dalot and later Bruno Fernandes both found themselves on the score sheet en route to a 2-0 victory.

Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund, and Marcus Rashford all looked solid during the game. Even though they didn’t score any goals all three of these players had a positive impact on the field that Ten Hag will be happy about.

Apart from big performances from those three, Erik Ten Hag is hoping for the return of a key Manchester United trio for their game against Tottenham. Let’s hear their names from Ten Hag’s own mouth. (h\t Metro)

“It’s hopeful that they can be back for the weekend, I’m talking about Christian Eriksen, potentially Luke Shaw. Harry [Maguire] maybe,”

He then went on to say that Mason Mount is also close to returning and needs some days or a week more to be back. It seems like things are finally going right for the Red Devils.

The addition of Christian Eriksen will add some much-needed experience on the pitch and their defensive line will be bolstered by the likes of Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire.
