Andre Onana mounts a sneak attack on the Liverpool fans after Manchester United secured a draw at Anfield
Andre Onana was pivotal in Manchester United’s efforts as they went on to secure a draw against Liverpool. the 27-year-old questioned the Anfield crowd as he stated that their atmosphere made him feel ‘nothing’.
Onana laid waste to the efforts of Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold who were a constant threat to the Red Devils. The Cameroon international’s 8 stops (fot.mob) were extremely crucial in Man United’s efforts at Anfield.
When talking about the game it could be seen plain as day that the Manchester United goalkeeper takes great pride in being a part of the club. Let’s have a look at what the 27-year-old had to say to the Liverpool fans post-game. (h/t MUTV)

“I felt nothing. At Manchester United you’re going to get that, I have to be ready for everything.”
The crowd’s low energy surprised more than just Andre Onana. In fact, football pundit Gary Neville also had some words for the Anfield crowd.
While speaking to Sky Sports, he said the atmosphere on Sunday was the worst that it had been in ages. The advantage of being at home only came during the first five minutes of the game when Anfield was at its loudest.
Even though the team struggled there were a lot of positives for Ten Hag to take note of. The defensive line’s stellar work must have delighted the Dutchman.

With everything in mind, Manchester United now need to build off of their performance against Liverpool. It would’ve been a completely different story if Rasmus Hojlund could’ve converted his golden chance against Alisson Becker.
If the attacking line shows the same type of grit and tenacity as the defensive line we just might see Manchester United get back to their form from last season.
