Manchester United now set a price for star-boy Scott McTominay
According to talkSPORT (h/t Manchester Evening News), Manchester United talisman Scott McTominay is now wanted by the Saudi Arabian clubs. He was put on sale this summer and clubs like West Ham and Fulham wanted him, but our talisman decided to continue his career as a United player.
This was probably one of the best decisions that is helping the club revive the bleak start to the season. The reports claim that United have set a price tag of £40million. We believe that the price is still less knowing how well the player has stepped up in the crucial games.
Now, that he is swiftly establishing his presence in the first team, it might prevent him from thinking of joining other clubs. There have been growing interests from Newcastle after Sandro Tonali has been banned for at least 10 months due to gambling.
Conversely, McTominay’s value has increased as a result of his recent goal-scoring prowess. Previously believed to be heading out, the player’s comeback could postpone his departure as he keeps proving his value despite United’s dire circumstances. The 26-year-old’s mentality is similar to that of many great United players who came up through the team’s youth.
We hope McTominay continues to play with a high level of intensity so that United can have more creative midfield play. We should try to keep him on until the conclusion of the season, no matter what the future holds for him.

He has proven that he is capable of leading his team and his nation in attack. It may be difficult for him to maintain his Scotland form throughout the season given the talented pool at United. Looking at his consistent performance, we believe that his value could increase even more.
