Italian giants Juventus want to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho

According to The Sun, Juventus are interested in out-of-favour Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho on a loan deal but a permanent deal also looks possible. Come the January transfer window, the Englishman is expected to leave the Old Trafford club.

Sancho has only played 76 minutes across three substitute appearances this season after which the United boss Erik ten Hag had a public disagreement with the winger and has since left him out completely.

Dortmund had been the early favourites to re-sign Sancho, but the winger is said to prefer the prospect of reviving his career in Serie A than going back to Signal Iduna Park.

Ten Hag claims his dismissal was due to subpar training efforts, but the player stated on social media that he was being used as a scapegoat.

His Old Trafford career seems to be over, at least until Erik ten Hag is the manager. Sancho has three more seasons left on his Old Trafford deal (Transfermarkt), but with no end in sight to the impasse, it seems probable that the 23-year-old will leave the club in 2024.

Joining Juventus on loan can be a great opportunity for him. It will help him gain more game-time and confidence and by the time he returns to our club the situation might fade away.

The team would suffer greatly if Sancho was to go. We can only hope that this situation changes and things get back to normal. The former Borussia player can give United’s attack the spark it needs, so that would be excellent.

At this point, there seems to be no way back for Sancho. That does not need to be the case though and let’s see how this issue unfolds.
