Manchester United might lose Jadon Sancho in the upcoming transfer window
According to 90min (h/t Manchester Evening News), Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho wants to go back to his former club Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho transferred from the Bundesliga team to United in 2021, but in the two years since his £73 million transfer, his career has not flourished at Old Trafford. The 23-year-old has made very few appearances for United this year and was completely left out of the team after last month’s 3-1 loss against Arsenal.
Sancho’s future at Old Trafford may change if Erik ten Hag‘s status changes as the manager is under increasing pressure following a shaky start to the season. That said, it does not seem like it will happen anytime soon.

United have failed to win their first two games in the Champions League and are currently tenth in the Premier League.
During his previous stint with Dortmund, Sancho made 137 appearances and netted 50 goals along with 64 assists.
Although more than a month has gone since the first incident and there are no signs of a change in the situation on the horizon, an apology from Sancho may result in his reinstatement into the team. Since that has still not happened, there are huge chances for him to go back to Germany.
This is also susceptible to change based on other interests during the next three months, but at the moment, a deal with Dortmund might be reached before January.

Losing Sancho will be a big loss for the club. However, let’s hope this scenario changes and everything comes back to normal. That would be great since United need an attacking impetus and the former Borussia man can provide just that.
