Rasmus Hojlund ranks amongst the top 10 fastest Premier League players this season
The Premier League is home to some of the world’s best – and quickest – footballers and our new signing, Rasmus Hojlund ranks as one of the top-10 fastest players in the league. United brought him from Atalanta for £72million this summer.
Hojlund made his United debut against Arsenal where United lost by a 3-1 score line. Despite being a substitute and getting only 23 minutes to showcase his talents, he already clocked a speed of 35.45 kilometres per hour.
He has practically made a blazing quick start to his Premier League career. Even though it’s too early to judge his attributes, it still creates a good impression not only for him but also for the fans. Premier League’s momentum is fast as the game accelerates as the time gets closer to the 90 minutes.
A few notable players who are below Hojlund are Pedro Neto (Wolverhampton Wanderers), former United player Anthony Elanga ( Nottingham Forest) and our young talent, Alejandro Garnacho.
Manchester United’s attacking frontier is fast and agile-
Fast-attacking players are always appreciated as they possess much greater stability while passing and making quick movements inside the final third. Marcus Rashford is another player who can play a crucial role in joining hands with Hojlund and demolishing the opposition’s defense with pace and agility.
On the other hand, Garnacho can also act as a catalyst when it comes to scoring goals. His run against Arsenal deserved a lot of praise as he swept past their defense due to his speed and then beautifully executed a shot. However, he was deemed off-side by the referee.
These glimpses show that United are filled with astounding players in every position and Hojlund should fit into the system with ease. Now, it is with time we can conclude whether he really can be an important asset to the team.

Let us hope he starts against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday and proves his worth to Ten Hag. Hojlund was lively during the international break for Denmark and he seems match-fit now to be able to start games for us.
