United are looking to reward Wan-Bissaka for the progress he has made under the manager Erik ten Hag. Since the transfer window has closed, the focus of the club has shifted back to securing a dependable player.

Notably, Wan-Bissaka faced challenges, including injuries, when Ten Hag assumed the managerial reins at the club.

Back then, Diogo Dalot occupied the right-back position, and there may have been doubts about Wan-Bissaka’s future at Old Trafford. However, he displayed unwavering determination and refused to concede defeat.

In the recent game against Arsenal, Dalot was compelled to fill in at left-back due to Luke Shaw‘s injury. This underlined Wan-Bissaka’s pivotal role as one of the club’s reliable right-back options.

Wan-Bissaka has started all four games of the current season, and Wan-Bissaka has shown the trust that Ten Hag has placed in him.

The English full-back also commended the Dutch boss for his influence in enhancing the attacking capabilities of full-backs. A testament to this was Wan-Bissaka’s assist that secured victory against Wolves, highlighting his improving offensive contributions.

While showcasing his growth in attack is important, Wan-Bissaka’s primary objective remains regular playing time.

Securing a contract extension for one of the club’s most dependable players is as significant as any marquee signing. United fans can rejoice in the news of retaining a player who is entering his peak years.
