Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni on Bayern Munich and Manchester United radar
Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, along with Manchester United, have Real Madrid star Aurelien Tchouameni on their radar, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.
The Bavarians are considering making a move for the France international in the ongoing transfer window. However, the Red Devils are also thinking about joining the pursuit of the midfielder’s signature.
Erik ten Hag is keen on adding him to the Red Devils’ ranks in the coming weeks. To that end, the Dutch manager has asked the Old Trafford side to make an effort to sign the 23-year-old this summer.
However, the Bundesliga giants are also interested in Tchouameni. As for the player, he is adamant about staying put at Los Blancos for the foreseeable future.
The midfielder started off well at the Santiago Bernabeu outfit. However, towards the business end of the 2022/23 term, the French national lost his pace in crucial matches for the La Liga outfit.
Bayern have an abundance of talent at their disposal in the middle of the park for now. Joshua Kimmich has been their enforcer in the engine room for some time now.
On the other hand, United have Casemiro at their disposal. The Brazil international joined the Red Devils last summer and has cemented his place in the number six position under Erik ten Hag. But the Dutch manager does not have a backup for the defensive midfielder.
Therefore, it will be interesting to see whether Tchouameni will want to compete with the 31-year-old for minutes at the Old Trafford side. However, the midfielder faces fierce competition at Madrid as well.
