Inter Milan not satisfied with Manchester United proposal for Andre Onana
Piero Ausilio, the sporting director of Inter Milan, is not satisfied with the opening bid Manchester United have made for Andre Onana.
The Red Devils submitted a £39 million package deal to the Nerazzurri for the shot-stopper. However, as things stand, the Serie A giants expect €60 million for the Cameroonian.
Subsequently, speaking to the media via transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Ausilio was not too keen about the offer made by the Old Trafford side. To that end, the Italian outfit hope to keep a hold of the 27-year-old this summer.

Inter signed Onana as a free agent in the summer of 2022. Therefore, the Nerazzurri will evidently make a massive profit by selling the goalkeeper in the ongoing transfer window.
However, it is their prerogative to demand what they want for the Cameroonian. Considering the shot-stopper’s displays in the Champions League, it is understandable that the 27-year-old is valued highly by the Serie A giants.
Onana previously worked under Erik ten Hag at Ajax Amsterdam. It is at the Eredivisie outfit where the Cameroonian developed and established himself.
Therefore, the shot-stopper is familiar with the Dutch manager’s style of play. In the previous campaign, David de Gea looked uncomfortable playing the ball out from the back. The Spaniard also made a number of errors in between the sticks in the 2022/23 campaign.
However, that will seemingly not be an issue for the 27-year-old. The goalkeeper showed immense distribution skills in the UCL final versus Manchester City. Unfortunately, the Nerazzurri lost 1-0 to the Sky Blues in the end.

It remains to be seen how much United will be willing to spend in Onana. Hopefully, the Red Devils will be able to come to a consensus with Inter soon for the Cameroonian.
