Manchester United have made highest bid to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham amidst Real Madrid agreement
Manchester United have made the highest bid to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham amidst the player’s agreement with Real Madrid, according to Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.
The Red Devils have offered €120 million for the midfielder, the most amongst any of the interested parties. However, the Bundesliga giants have set a price tag of €150 million on him.
As things stand, Los Blancos have been given the green light by the England international regarding a move to the Santiago Bernabeu side. Now, all that remains is for the Spanish giants to strike a deal with BVB.
United have Bellingham as one of their top targets ahead of the upcoming transfer window. Manchester City are also interested in the 19-year-old. But it looks like Madrid will pip the other teams to his signature.
The England international is one of the most promising midfielders in football right now. Dortmund signed the youngster in the summer of 2020 from Birmingham City and he has gone from strength to strength since then.
Los Blancos have an abundance of talent in the middle of the park at the moment. Carlo Ancelotti can call upon Luka Mordric and Toni Kroos. The Spanish giants also have Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde in their ranks.
United’s engine room consists of Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Fred, Scott McTominay, and Donny van de Beek. We also signed Marcel Sabitzer in January on loan from Bayern Munich.
Erik ten Hag has turned things around admirably at the Old Trafford side. The midfield has looked solid with the Brazilian and Danish national’s partnership. But without them, we tend to struggle.
