Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham is “comfortable” in Germany amidst interest from Manchester United and other top clubs around Europe.

At the moment, Premier League rivals Liverpool and European giants Real Madrid are leading the race for the 19-year-old’s signature. However, the Red Devils, along with Manchester City, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, are also looking to acquire the midfielder’s services.

Speaking to Bild (h/t Daily Mail), BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl has revealed that the Bundesliga outfit have received no offers for the England international. They are also keen on keeping hold of him beyond next summer.

“Jude feels very comfortable at Borussia Dortmund, but we haven’t had conversations yet and haven’t received offers for him. He still has two more years of contract and is a very important piece of this team. That’s why I naturally wish that he would play for BVB longer.”

Bellingham joined Dortmund in the summer of 2020 from Birmingham City. He has developed into a quality player and grown from strength to strength in Germany over the years.

The 19-year-old established himself in BVB’s starting lineup immediately and is now pivotal for them. In the current campaign, Edin Terzic has even handed the youngster the captain’s armband on a few occasions.

In Qatar, the England international was also a key member of Gareth Southgate’s squad. The midfielder started in every game for the Three Lions as they were knocked out by France in the quarter-finals.

This season, Bellingham has made 29 appearances in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists. The Bundesliga outfit are also doing well in the Champions League, beating Chelsea 1-0 in the first leg of the round of 16.

At the moment, United have the likes of Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Fred, Scott McTominay and Marcel Dabitzer at their disposal in the middle of the park. However, we could evidently do with more quality in the engine room.
