Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag believes Marcus Rashford has huge potential and is currently one of the best strikers in Europe
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag was delighted with the win over Leeds United and was particularly impressed with the performances of Marcus Rashford, who has been in scintillating form this season and bagged another goal for himself.
The Red Devils returned to their winning ways with an impressive 2-0 win over Leeds United at Elland Road, pushing them seven points above Tottenham Hotspur in fifth.
He spoke highly of the England international and as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano via Twitter, the manager believes that Rashford has enormous potential and he can get more out of the player.
Rashford has contributed to 29 overall goal contributions and is surely having the best season of his career so far under the Dutch manager.
It seems like Ten Hag has found a way to get the player moving in a positive direction after a dismal campaign last season and currently there is no stopping the enigmatic forward.
He is on course for a 30+ goal season and has cemented himself as one of the best players in the Premier League this season.
It is only February and four months of football are yet to be played however the form and fitness of Rashford are of utmost importance for us to have a good finish to the season.
Hopefully, with the help of attacking coach Benny McCarthy, he is able to shine at the highest level and be a centre-piece of a team in transition.
Praise should be given to the manager as well for handling the development of each player which has resulted in the team playing some beautiful football whilst being on the job for just over six months.
Almost everyone who was part of United last season has improved and provided valuable contributions to the team and it does feel like there is a proper team structure in place.
