PSG eye Manchester United and England forward Marcus Rashford as ‘priority’
Manchester United and England star Marcus Rashford has emerged as a ‘priority’ for French outfit Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), according to Media Foot via TeamTalk (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Red Devils recently triggered the option to extend the 25-year-old’s contract, which was set to expire at the end of the season, by a further year. Now, the Old Trafford side will be hopeful about tying the forward down to a new long-term deal.
Rashford has been in fine form for United in the current campaign. He found the back of the net for us in our 2-0 win over Burnley in the Carabao Cup. It was the Red Devils’ first game back after the 2022 World Cup break.

This season, the 25-year-old is the leading goalscorer at the club. He has scored nine goals in all competitions for the Old Trafford side in 20 appearances.
However, the England international struggled at the Manchester-based club in the previous campaign. After losing in the Euro 2020 final with the Three Lions, the forward seemed to have lost his confidence.
Rashfird hardly had an impact when he featured for United last season. As a result, the England international also lost his place in the starting lineup.
Fortunately, the 25-year-old has found his feet once again under Erik ten Hag. The Dutch manager has used the winger in the centre-forward position as well in the current campaign due to Anthony Martial’s injury issues.
Rashford’s performances also got him back in the England fold. Gareth Southgate picked the 25-year-old in his 26-man World Cup squad. The Old Trafford side’s academy graduate was impressive for the Three Lions in Qatar.
