Cristiano Ronaldo is displeased with the progress at Manchester United.

“2021 is coming to an end and it was far from being an easy year, despite my 47 goals scored across all competitions. But I’m not happy with what we are achieving in Man United. None of us are happy, I’m sure of that. We know that we have to work harder, play better and deliver way more than we are delivering right now. Let’s embrace 2022 with a higher spirit and a stronger mentality. Let’s take us above and beyond, let’s reach for the stars and put this club right where it belongs!”

A strong message!

CR7 has handed a resolution to the club and what they need to do moving forward this season. As he mentioned, we have to use this as a turning point and start afresh as we try to attain our objectives. It would not be easy as many more hardships are set to follow as we go through the campaign.

We have to improve our displays and be consistent with them as they are bound to play an important role in our success this term. Even the 36-year-old has to do better, even if the Red Devils ace has done great by scoring decisive goals for us. For the Portugal striker’s high standards, he has to fare well in other phases of the play in the days to come.

We will face Wolverhampton Wanderers in Premier League on Monday and would need all three points to build on the momentum that we have gained, having won against Burnley. We would have an opportunity to work more on the training ground to get used to Rangnick’s tactics as we would not play until 10 January when we take on Aston Villa in the FA Cup.
