Manchester United set to offer huge signing bonus to Denis Zakaria

According to German news outlet Blick (h/t Mirror), Manchester United are likely to make a lucrative offer including a signing bonus of €10-12m (£8.4m-£10m) for Denis Zakaria in the summer transfer window.

Denis Zakaria has been one of the most consistent performers for the German side of Borussia Monchengladbach. His maturity while controlling the most critical region has attracted several big clubs’ interests.

The Swedish player has been essential for M’gladbach’s success, but it seems he wants to take his game to a whole different level. Despite serving his final year with Die Fohlen, he has shown no interest in extending the term. In such a case, he would be eligible to talk with foreign clubs from January.

Manchester United has been keen on signing the 25-year-old player. Now it seems the Red Devils won’t be looking to lure the player in January as they are planning to make a move in the summer when he’ll be out of contract.

It is believed that Manchester United are preparing a contract with a lucrative signing bonus worth €10-12m (£8.4m-£10m). It’d be interesting to see if the offer makes the difference to land one of the necessary solutions in the midfield.

French superstar Paul Pogba’s contract situation at the moment remains up in the air. It’s possible that he could leave the club when his contract ends the following summer.

Donny van de Beek was never given a solid chance to showcase his true talents under Ole Gunnar Solskjær. His lack of game time is a concern for his long term future at Old Trafford.

Fred’s recent performances for the English club remains utterly volatile. Despite receiving starts, he is yet to deliver a justifying performance.

In such a case, a midfield signing becomes necessary for Ed Woodward’s management. It seems they have already started their hunt, and the signing bonus appears to be a strong strategy in pursuing the midfielder.
